Each Media drawer is 10" deep, and has a optional, center divider...so if storing CDs, that's 20" of storage. A drawer with CDs in 'flat' plastic jewel cases is able to hold 50 in each row for a total of 100. In the 'regular' plastic jewel cases, it would be half that (50 TOTAL). It can hold about 18 DVDs across in the 'large' plastic cases that you get when you buy or rent a movie. Holds 11 VHS tapes.
